K-12 Private School
Enrolment is now open for Wilderness Skills Institute’s full time 1st-12th grade private school program. We offer a full program leading to a high school diploma. With math, science, English, social studies, art, and technical education with most days outside doing real work. There are no bells, desks, or lecturing. What you will find is students learning academics studying fields that they are passionate about in a collaborative environment. The student is treated as a person not as only a part of a class. Each student pursues a curriculum individual designed for him or her with the help of mentors working in their field. Read more
Archery and Wilderness Skills Overnight Camps
Archery is a discipline that can be practiced a lifetime. WSI's director is a US Archer Coach who focuses all of our archery programs on the National Training System. Our teen programs are total immersion experiential learning wilderness experiences in primitive camping, naturalist and survival skills, and outdoor recreation, with real rites of passage in an atmosphere of celebration. Home-School Wilderness and Nature Programs Wilderness Skills Institute offers a full range of programs to supplement the Home-School education for all age groups with math, science, art, nature, and leadership programs. Most of our programs are approved for funding from Ocean Grove and FAME Charter Schools Kids Pre-Teen & Teen	;


Family Camps Come be a part of fun and learn the skills that your kids learn. These are also perfect for including the kids that are too young for our overnight camps or too young for our day camps. These camps are also great for those families that want to learn the skills to be self-reliant in the back country, we include the entire family in the everyday chores of interacting off the grid.
